Thanks to all of you, the Festival of Genomics is now not only one of the biggest genomics events in Europe, but also one of the fastest growing in the world. This year you’re going to get more of what you love, and a lot more of what you need.
Festival of Genomics London 2018 celebrated a staggering 22% increase in visitor numbers. With 1700 attendees, the Festival of Genomics London is the UK’s largest genomics event where people from all corners of the genomics industry meet to learn & share expertise.
We will be returning to London at our new home, The Business Design Centre in Islington N1 in the heart of the city, on 23-24 January 2019. Offering a more central location and better travel links for both UK and EU visitors and exhibitors & with many hospitals and research centres located within a 10-minute journey, it will be easier than ever for professionals to leave their offices and spend more time at the Festival.
“Festival of Genomics has been an excellent way to meet Clinicians, Principle Investigators, Post Doctorates and Commercial teams in one place. It’s an excellent opportunity to network with these groups as well as seeing leading speakers at the seminar and key note sessions. We’re already planning for 2019 and see the event as part of our core industry engagement programme.” – Promega
“The Festival of Genomics brings engaged professionals to a single place; to learn, to share and to network. It has one of the best atmosphere’s I have ever felt at an industry event, with just the perfect blend of professionalism and originality. The Genomics industry is a serious one, but also an innovative and creative one. Something FoG embodies really well. As an exhibitor showcasing at FoG, I not only felt a part of the program but the energy too, which is hard not to get hooked on. It is all thanks to a very nice team who work very hard. So, thank you!” – Genestack
“We have exhibited at Festival of Genomics for the past two years and have already signed up for 2019. We find the show attracts a wide range of scientists from the field of genomics and gives our customers a good opportunity to talk to our product specialists to see how our products can helpsupport their work” – Eppendorf UK

Special Interest Groups
Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are carefully curated, invite-only gatherings of senior and technical experts from academia, healthcare, pharma, diagnostics and technology companies. Participants share expertise, discuss business/research-critical business challenges, and work towards actionable, robust solutions and best practices for both attendees and the wider community.
The meetings are organised by Front Line Genomics, and discussion points, solutions and suggestions are reported both through our website and via intelligence reports that are shared with the wider community. These are not silos. The whole community benefits.
There are two types of SIGs:
♦ Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are half-day meetings of 15-20 experienced technical, research and/or business people, focused on a business or research -critical topic area. The first SIGs took place in London in January and in March in Boston, to excellent feedback. The next 5 SIGs take place in Boston on June 19/20/21. Learn More →
♦ The Precision Data SIG is a one-day meeting of 120-150 people, all focused on a broad topic, but breaking down into themed discussion tables, with presentations and ample networking time, as part of a larger meeting. The next Big SIG takes place in Boston on September 12th, and is currently in development. Learn More →
“…A perfect opportunity to engage in a pre-competitive discussion and affirm (and identify) high priority challenges. The SIGs helped us to validate solutions with the industry experts in a transparent way.“ — Vibohr Gupta, Director, Pangaea Group
