It wasn’t too long ago that there were rumours flying around that the GWAS was dead. Far from being dead, it would seem that GWAS has come of age with respect to the accuracy of polygenic risk scores being achieved. So much so, that it’s time to start thinking seriously about how to best utilise it in the clinic.
