There are a wealth of sophisticated consumer devices out there that we can use to self-monitor. Everything from heart rate to sleep to daily steps can be recorded and tracked. And in the world of genomics, more and more companies are working to convince us of the benefits of keeping tabs on the ins and outs of our DNA.
